George and the dragon

George and the dragon”

Narrator : Once upon a time there was a brave knight called George. George had lots of adventures as he travelled by horse across many lands.

One day he came to a small village and met a man who lived in a cave next to the village.

- George: Hello, Good afternoon! How are you? Can I have some water, please? I am very thirsty.
- Old man: Yes, of course. Here you are.
- George: I'm tired! Where Can I find a place to rest?
- Old man: In the village, but something terrible is happening in the village. A terrible dragon has come to live in the lake and attacked the village every day. We need your help.
- George: That's terrible! I'll help you.

- Villagers: - Oh no!, the dragon is here. We need to hide from the dragon. Let's run!
- Dragon:  Jajaja. I am going to destroy your village. You can't stop me.

- King: Don't worry. I'll help you. I have an idea. If we give our food to the dragon, He will go away.

- Villagers: What a great idea! Hurray!
- Narrator: They gave the dragon all their food, but the dragon took the food and still attacked the villagers.

- Villagers: Oh no! The dragon is back. What can we do now?
- King: Don't worry! I have another idea! If we give the animals to the dragon he will go away.
- Villagers: Oh no! We need our animals.
- Animals: Not fair. Please not me! The end!
 - Narrator: The dragon took all the animals, but continued to attack the villagers.
Then they gave the dragon all their gold and jewels.
-         King: If we give our gold to the dragon, he will be very happy and he will leave us alone.
-         Villagers:  We will be poor. We´ll have nothing.
-         Narrator: The dragon took all their money, bus still was not satisfied.
-         Villagers: What can we do now? There is nothing left.
-         King: I will send my army to slay him.
-         Army: We are very strong. The dragon can´t beat us.
-         Dragon: You are too weak. You are small and I´m big. Go back to your village.
-         Army: Retreat! He is too strong.
Narrator: With nothing left to give, the king could only think of one thing to protect his people.
-         King: I will send my daughter, the princess.
-         Princess: I am not scared. I am brave.
-         Narrator: When George heard this he rode as fast as he could to the lake.
-         George:  I am very fast. I´ll stop the dragon.
-         Narrator: George attacked the dragon. He won the fight and killed the dragon.
George and the princess returned to the village and everyone was very pleased.
